I bought this with the intention of giving it to my father who has problems reading the newspaper, but while it can change between about 4 different zoom levels they all seem rather too high. The focus distance is very short too so you have to hold the device against what you are trying to look at to get a focused image. The device is very compact and if you are wanting to take images of small items then this is a good idea, but no good for people with eyesight issues for reading the paper. The product itself is OK. Would be excellent for reading the fine print on medicine bottles and other things like that.
