      Nice small GPS module. Works very well with Betaflight. The pinout of the picture on this site is right (not as statet by many others).

      The provided pictures show how to configure this GPS module in Betaflight.

      Using a Taranis with SmartPort telemetry: be shure to delete all sensors first and then do a sensor scan while GPS position is true. Otherwise the sonsors are probably not stored right. You want to set "Auto Offset" on altitude too.

      This is an amazing tiny module on my little x130 fast start and no drop outs even just mounted straight on top of frame (no mast). using it with betaflight OSD on an F4 FC 1407 motors and 4S.

      I setup with Ucentre 1st using the cleanflight setup and I had to take it outside for it to pick up sats (i have a metal sheet roof on this house - no/poor signal inside!). you might not get a signal on your bench - take it outside!

      Just order another for my x215 to replace it's older GPS - GREAT!!!!!!

        it cannot track anything for its own. It just reports the actual gps data to whatever you wire it to. Normlay thats a flight controller. With this you can track your flight. But a balloon normally does'nt have a flight controller. ;-) Maybe you could make use of an arduino for that and wire this gps module to the arduino.

        Notsure what you mean by trigger.. if you mean once it gets GPS lock then you could take the switch feed on the side of the lock LED.. but i think this is multi function so might not work .. features of the GPS can be programed via a TTL USB and Arduino software.

        youcan connect both of them but 5V is recomended. To make it work, you should setup the betaflight and wait until the GPS to capture at least 4 sattelite. But these GPS antennas and reflectors are so small which means it will not capture sattalites well on the area where surrounded by with buildings, trees etc.

        Can't see why not, though you'd need to find an appropriate configurator/interface for your application. It's just a GPS module, so it's not really bothered by what it's being used in as long as 1) it can see enough satellites and 2) the logic board it is interfacing with is UART compatible.
