My original brick for this plane eventually failed with the ESC no longer driving the motor. I have replaced it with this part and all is good again. The board is a later version but exactly the same size and shape, so all you have to do is solder the motor connectors onto the marked points, glue the brick in and connect up the servos. Servo arms and screws are provided, but the servo arms are a little longer than the original ones. I have reused the original ones but I think the longer ones would have been OK. Photos show the old board in position - I took that before I did anything else, always a good precaution - and the old and new bricks side by side. Binding and the flying experience are just as they were with the old brick.

As a newbie to rc but with several Eachine warbirds in my hanger, I decided to build a Minimum kit and got some Eachine spare parts to complete the project. This little brick is perfect for small plane projects but even this was a bit big for the Minimum kit. With some ingenuity it fits and binds to the Eachine xmitter. Now I'm just waiting for some good weather and reduced lockdown to try a maiden flight! I recommend this part for small rc projects.

Q: For the gyro to function properly, should the receiver be mounted right side up (servos on top) or upside down (servos at bottom) ? Thanks
      A:
This 1 MUST be mounted with the servos up. There are at least 4 versions of this receiver board. They will have V76101 (this 1), V76105 (for the Mini Warbirds and must be mounted upside down), v76106 (for the Ranger 400 pusher) and V76107 (for F-22 and F-16) on them and the particular version will be marked with a white dot.

Q: Is this compatible with the FlySky i6 Transmitter?
      A:
Nope. Wrong protocol. Use V761 on a multiprotocol radio.

Q: Can be bind with Jumper T12 ?
      A:
I bind them to a Jumper T12 Pro transmitter, which has an inbuilt 4-in1 Multi-protocol module. With a T12 (not Pro) I think you have to put a 4-in-1 module into the bay on the back of the TX.

Q: Cannot bind to my JR DSM-2 transmitter. Suggestions?
      A:
The required protocol is V761, not DSM. V761 is available in 4in1 multiprotocol modules, as found in many but not all OpenTX transmitters. An example is the Jumper T12 Pro.

Q: is this compatible with a eachine transmitter or eachine mini f22?
      A:
All the transmitters from the Volantex V761 series planes are interchangeable. The receiver bricks are the same physically but are programmed differently for different mounting orientation or control requirements.

Q: can I bind this receiver with any other 2ghz transmitter? I would like to know as I my current receiver isn’t working.
      A:
It will bind with OpenTX transmitters that have a 4 in 1 multiprotocol module. It is not sufficient to have a single multiprotocol module.

Q: can this receiver use a brushless motor?
      A:
No it CANNOT! Not without some serious modification by someone with advanced soldering skills and extensive knowledge of RC control systems and how to modify them!

      Q: how to bind?
      A:
For the first time, power up the receiver first and then your transmitter. After that transmitter first works. Note that you can bind several V761 planes to 1 transmitter by the same process. Mini Trainstar, Ranger 400 (might use slightly modified programming) and 600 pushers, Sport Cub 500, Super Cub 500, plus the Eachine re-brands ( Mini Mustang, Corsair, Trojan F22 and F16.) Note that this brick is programmed for the first 5 models. The 3 Warbirds are programmed to mount upside down and the F22 and F16 jets are programmed quite differently.

Q: Hi guys ! Is it possible to bind it why a 2.4Ghz transmitter ? Thanks
      A:
It will bind to OpenTX transmitters like the Jumper T12 Pro. Suitable transmitters must have a 4in1 multiprotocol module. A single multiprotocol module is not sufficient because the V761 protocol is not supported by the chip used in single chip multiprotocol modules.
